Installation: 100 x 200 x 20cm (Installation view) 10 oil based perfumes reconstructing street odours, plastic dispensers, wood, paint, paper The sun bakes the city and draws out its smell. The minute was imbued with Ethiopian Coffee, Alpine chemical cleaner, tobacco smoke, a vague hint of sewage far below the paving stones and rotting rubbish in the bin. Via the effleurage method of the perfumer the essence of the minute has been broken into discrete scents. . |
