The first real Happy Band set. Dan recorded these whilst doing other things. It covers different sounds but is bound by a questioning of the world and the bric-a-brac feel of a jumble sale, rooting around and finding all the humdrum stuff of life as well as a few glimpses into the something-more.between the yorkshire dales
and the low expanse
of west country moorland
lies a great depression
unseen by human eyes
set upon in playgrounds
faultlines cracking soft soil
a depression not cut
by ice ages or floods
nor meteors crashing
but rainy Tuesdays
and slow-mo taxi cabs
melancholy Wally
hailing subtle snowdrops
and waiting for the thaw
