A set of songs recorded during 2006.

"There's a story about about two songbirds captured on a remote Pacific Island. Their fame was widespread on the island as they used to sing in a way that resembled people talking.

However, their colonialist owner paid no attention to their tweeting and kept them in a cage in his Paris apartment. Here they sat, unheard and ignored, until a linguist friend of the owner came to visit him for coffee. The tweeting and murmuring of the birds kept interuppting the conversation between the colonialist and the linguist until the colonialist could take no more.

"SHUT UP!" he snapped angrily at the helpless creatures.

The birds then replied with clearly definable words, something before they had only ever hinted at.

The linguist immediately sat upright. "No friend, let them speak!"

"Why? Esteemed colleague! They talk only nonsense! What can you hear that I cannot"

"They are speaking a language that died 300 years ago!" He stared at the tiny specimens.

"No one has heard these words in living memory. Their culture died of disease and left no mortal trace! Their only record is in the dusty pages of a ancient book in the museum. What a miracle!"

So, like these mysterious caged birds, this is a collection of Happy Band songs not heard by human ears for at least 18 months. Unlock them and allow them flight!
